Abu Dhabi University registers a patent in technology for building secure local networks

The Associate Vice Chancellor of Abu Dhabi University for Scientific Research, Innovation and Academic Development, and Professor of Electrical Engineering at Abu Dhabi University, Dr. Montaser Qasaymeh, has obtained a patent from the United States for the 16th time, for achieving a pioneering precedence in the field of quantum teleportation technology, as the patent is filed for an innovation related to building networks. Local, secure and impenetrable, with the possibility of seamless integration with global infrastructure and modern technologies such as Block Chain.
The patent, titled “Quantum Teleportation Network Using a System of Electrically Enabled Graphene Waveguides,” relies on the use of graphene-based materials and quantum teleportation principles to provide an effective means of efficiently transmitting microwave signals across optical fibers, reducing power loss and increasing scalability. Its advanced framework provides an innovative solution to cybersecurity challenges in today’s interconnected world. Dr. Montaser Qassima said: “Innovation carries developmental potential across several sectors, including: finance, health care, defense and government, global Internet of Things networks, and enhances the shaping of secure connectivity globally by ensuring the security of financial transactions and protecting sensitive medical data. Protecting government communications for critical operations and enhancing Internet of Things networks.”
