المملكة: The conclusion of the activities of the first version of the Space Research Program in Saudi Arabia

The Falak Society for Space Sciences and Research concluded the “Falak Research” program in its first version in the presence of the President of King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology, His Excellency Dr. Mounir El -Desouki, who was founded and led by a student of King Abdulaziz University in the Department of Physics at the College of Science, “Lana Al Abbasi”, which is the first program to guide space research in the Kingdom .

Honoring the winners of the first places

The closing ceremony witnessed the honoring of the first three winners for the best research shows, and this leading initiative in linking a distinguished group of school students in the Kingdom succeeded, along with experts and spacecrafts in the national and international level, to work on advanced scientific research and with added scientific value.
And a period of five months, the research program of the research program was able to produce 14 advanced scientific research within three main research paths, namely astronomy and space, space techniques and systems, medicine and health in space.

The founder and director of the program, “Lana Fahd Al -Abbasi”, explained that the research program of the research achieved pioneering achievements that exceeded the team’s expectations at the beginning of planning the program, as it achieved the highest number of introductions recorded in the history of astronomical programs for space science and research, and it was distinguished by the program students by participating in their research in conferences And pioneering research exhibitions.
Al -Abbasi indicated that these successes for the first version of the program explain the importance of its role in meeting the need to provide an incubator environment that provides research resources, guidance and guidance for young researchers in the space field from the early stages.
