During its programs to transform education and community participation initiatives and in 2024, we united to respond to crises in Gaza and Lebanon.

In 2024, Dubai also affirmed its commitment to providing humanitarian aid through two main campaigns to respond to crises: “Gaza in the heart” during the blessed month of Ramadan, and the joint national initiative “UAE with you, Lebanon”, and Dubai Al -Ataa launched a wide campaign for community participation and collecting donations in order to provide resources Vitality for families and children in Gaza and Lebanon who face great challenges.

Dubai Al -Atta also launched the “Giving flavor” campaign, a distinct initiative to collect donations targeting the vibrant restaurant, food and drinks sector in the UAE. About 50 restaurants and brands for food and drinks participated in the campaign, as it encouraged society to support education by eating food and drinks in restaurants and buying specific products from participating brands.

Dubai Al -Attah also launched the “Back to School” course within the “Volunteering in the Emirates” initiative, where more than 400 volunteers met in Abu Dhabi to pack and equip 10,000 school bags for children from needy families throughout the UAE.

The “Students for Students” initiative, launched by Dubai Cares in 2024, witnessed exceptional support from the school community in the UAE, where 720,000 dirhams were collected through creative efforts made by students from 14 schools, which enabled Dubai Al -Atta to provide basic school supplies – Like bags and stationery – for children from needy families and in the second stage of the initiative, 12 schools hosted a voluntary days that collected more than 3,500 students, a teacher and a guardian of packages and equipping 9,000 school bags. These bags were distributed after that to schools and charities in the country.

Dubai Al -Atta issued a report on the relationship of education and climate, calling for comprehensive solutions to advance sustainable development and Dubai Al -Ataa launched a report “Refrading the Scene of Education: Connecting between Education and Climate”, a leading document that explores the decisive relationship between education and climate work.

This report was launched during the “Ryired Summit” within the COP28 Conference in the UAE, as it embodies the intensive consultations that took place with the actors in the fields of education and climate, and provides five concrete solutions as well as practical recommendations to enhance sustainable development by converting education.
