The Arab Energy Fund … a new identity that keeps pace with leading and influential investments
In a speech to him on this occasion, His Highness the Minister of Energy noted the response of the Board of Directors of the Arab Energy Fund and its keeping pace with the developments related to the decision of the member states of the Arab Petroleum Exporting Organization (OPEC) to restructure, reformulate the construction agreement, develop its business, and change its name to the “Arab Energy Organization” .

His Highness pointed out that the projects that the fund will mean include the coverage of the targets of the Arab countries in the field of energy transformation, taking into account the most appropriate energy mix and the challenges facing this sector, in a manner that ensures that the Arab member states are accompanying to achieve sustainable development.
The launch of the identity came during the celebration of the Arab Energy Fund, formerly known as Abeorb, the 50th anniversary of its founding, in the presence of the Minister of Energy in the United Arab Emirates, Suhail Muhammad Al -Mazrouei, the Minister of Oil in Kuwait, Tariq Suleiman Al -Roumi, and the Minister of Oil and Gas in Libya, Khalifa Rajab Abdel -Sadiq, The Minister of Energy and CEO of Qatar Energy Company in the State of Qatar, Saad Sharida Al -Kaabi, the Minister of Oil and Environment and the Special Envoy for Climate Affairs in the Kingdom of Bahrain, Mohammed bin Mubarak bin Dinah, and the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Oil in Iraq Hayyan Abdul Ghani, in addition to the diplomatic corps, industry leaders and partners from all over The area.

The new name and slogan embodies the meanings of unity, cohesion and unlimited prospects for the energy sector scene, where the forms of successive triangles symbolize the ten member states in the fund, while the circular design is a reflection of the Fund’s continuous efforts to enhance the circular economy, and the identity also reflects the message of the Arab Fund for Energy and its ambitious vision to continue the influential investments Correctly building a bright, more stable and sustainable future for the energy sector in the Middle East and North Africa.
The Fund launched the “50” program for training graduates, a six -month initiative that provides new graduates from the Middle East and North Africa region with practical knowledge and experiences in the field of financing solutions for the energy sector, as the program received the first batch in 2024, where their graduation ceremony was held during the celebration evening 50 years old to establish the fund.
