“Artificial Memories” revives the lost personal memories in an innovative way

During its participation in the Arab Health Exhibition and Conference, Emirates Health Services Foundation launched a pioneering project called “Artificial Memories”, a pioneering innovation that revives personal memories using advanced artificial intelligence technology, cognitive psychology and digital humanities, to rebuild visual and sensory experiences that have faded Or it was lost over time.

The Foundation explained to “Emirates Today”, that unlike the natural memories stored in the human brain, artificial memories are created by advanced algorithms that convert descriptions, whether they are oral or written into vibrant images or short videos, allowing individuals to retrieve their precious moments in a way New and innovative.

The fruit of cooperation

The Foundation explained that this project is the fruit of cooperation between the Emirates Health Services Corporation, the Mohammed bin Rashid Center for Government Innovation and the Data Data Streams, noting that research development of artificial memories will be conducted by scientists and researchers at Al -Amal Hospital for Mental Health of the Emirates Health Services Foundation to ensure a strong base It is based on scientific experience in mental health.

During its participation, the Foundation also presented the project “Future Space Laboratory for Mental Health”, a leading initiative aimed at exploring the dimensions of mental health in space and developing scientific innovations to promote mental health and psychological flexibility.

As the possibility of traveling to space increased, new mental health challenges have emerged. This laboratory seeks to study and address these challenges through a set of innovative scientific methods, and also aims to develop advanced solutions that serve astronauts, while translating these innovations into practical applications that contribute to promoting mental health on Earth.
