Mohamed Al Sharqi is witnessing the Fujairah International Piano Prizes Awards ceremony
Fujairah on January 30 / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, stressed the importance of arts and music in promoting cultural identity and creative fields in society, and its fundamental role in promoting communication and renewing human dialogue between different cultures.
This came during the presence of His Highness the Crown Prince of Fujairah, the award ceremony of the sixth edition of the Fujairah International Piano Competition, in the presence of His Excellency Sheikh Salem bin Khalid Al Qasimi, Minister of Culture, and His Excellency Mubarak Al -Nakhi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture.
His Highness pointed to the keenness and attention of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Muhammad Al Sharqi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Fujairah, to create a creative society supporting the arts in the Emirate of Fujairah, and to attract interested and creative people to embrace their creativity and support their talents, in order to achieve the vision of the UAE and enhance its position on the cultural and global artistic scene.
The ceremony included a speech by His Excellency Ali Obaid Al -Hafiti, Director General of the Fujairah Academy of Fine Arts, and a speech by the head of the jury, in addition to presenting a video of the competition and its participants from all over the world.
His Highness the Crown Prince of Fujairah honored the partners and sponsors of the ceremony, the arbitration committees of the award, and the winners of its categories, praising their interest in participating in the award and their distinguished performance. The attendees also enjoyed, in the concert paragraphs, to play the winners of the award categories with the orchestra, and a performance paragraph in the piano, performed by the contestant Sarah Ahmed, who are concerned with the Arab Republic of Egypt.
The ceremony was attended by His Excellency Dr. Ahmed Hamdan Al -Zyoudi, Director of the Office of the Crown Prince of Fujairah, and His Excellency Shatha Al -Mulla, Assistant Undersecretary for the Heritage and Arts Sector at the Ministry of Culture.
