Netanyahu orders a “postponement” of Palestinian detainees to release them

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ordered the “postponement” of the release of Palestinian detainees who were to be released on Thursday in exchange for the three Israeli hostages who were released hours ago as part of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza, according to his office.

Netanyahu’s office said that the Prime Minister “besides Defense Minister Yisrael Katz directed to postpone the release of the prisoners scheduled to be completed today until the guarantee of our hostage to leave safely in the coming stages.”

A source in Hamas, France Presse, said that the movement is communicating with the mediators to pressure Israel to release the 110 Palestinian detainees, to be released Thursday.
