"Muslim sages" Participates in the National Youth Summit for Climate

Islamabad on January 30 / WAM / The Council of Muslim Elders participated in the Pakistan branch in the National Youth Summit for Climate 2025, which was held in Islamabad, with the participation of more than 500 people, including policy makers, experts, young leaders, government officials and students from various educational institutions.

The summit discussed several major axes, including the necessity of adopting comprehensive climate policies, enhancing the role of the media in spreading environmental awareness, and involving all groups of society in finding solutions to climate change; Where the participants stressed the importance of teamwork and cooperation between government agencies, non -governmental organizations and the private sector to face environmental challenges.

The participation of the Muslim Wise Council -Pakistan Branch at this summit comes from its commitment to enhance religious responsibility towards environmental and climate issues, and support it to empower young people and enhance their role in facing environmental challenges.

During the summit, the Council stressed the importance of cooperation between the various actors, including policymakers, civil society and the private sector, to ensure a sustainable future.
