The start of the semi -final stage of "Prince of Poets"

Abu Dhabi, January 31 / WAM / started yesterday evening from the Al -Raha Beach Theater in Abu Dhabi, the semi -final episode of the eleventh season of the “Prince of Poets” program produced by the Abu Dhabi Heritage Authority.
Asmaa Al Hammadi from the Emirates completed the list of those who qualified for the program’s finals after it came as a result of the public vote during the past week by obtaining 84 degrees from 100, to join both Abdul Rahman Al -Humairi from the Emirates, Abdul Wahid Imran from Yemen, Othman Al -Hisho Qarbashi from Morocco, and Al -Mukhtar Abdullah Salahi from Mauritania, weighing Issa from Syria, in the finals.
The episode was attended by His Excellency Dr. Jamal Sanad Al -Suwaidi, Vice -Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Emirates Center for Strategic Studies and Research, Dr. Sultan Al -Amimi, Acting Executive Director of the Poetry and Heritage Sector at the Abu Dhabi Heritage Authority, and organized the advisory committee of the program, Dr. Imad Khalaf, the poet Raad Bandar, and an audience of poets, media professionals, writers, intellectuals and loved ones the hair.
The jury consisting of Dr. Ali bin Tamim, Dr. Muhammad Hajo, and Dr. Muhammad Abu Al -Fadl Badran, who replaced the late Dr. Wahb Romans, was awarded the highest degree in the episode by the poet Abdul Rahman Al -Humairi and obtained 28 degrees out of 30, followed by Abdul Wahid Imran with 26 degrees, and weighs Issa is 26 degrees, while Asmaa Al -Hammadi got 25 degrees, and the Mukhtar Abdullah Salahi was 23 degrees, and Othman Al -Hisho Qarbashi was 22 degrees.
The audience will vote during the next week by 40% for the six poets who will compete in the final episode next Thursday, in which the jury will give them the remaining 30% of the degrees, where at the end of the episode the committee’s degrees will be collected with voting grades, to announce the final results, and determine the centers from the sixth To the first place, winning one million dirhams and the title of “Prince of Poets” for the eleventh season.
The episode included a photo report on Dr. Wahb Roumieh, a member of the jury, which passed away last Tuesday, and the report shed light on his scientific biography and position in the Arab literary and critical scene, and his wealthy contributions to the service of Arabic literature.
The episode also hosted in the poetry of poetry, both the “Poet of the Million”, the poet Dr. Khamis bin Muhammad bin Sultan Al -Muqaimi from the Sultanate of Oman, and the star of “Prince of Poets” in the sixth season, Nazir Al -Sumaida’i from Iraq.
