المملكة: 25 corners .. Barq celebrates its agricultural heritage at the second millet festival

The Undersecretary of the Governor of Bariq Governorate, Ibrahim Amin, inaugurated the activities of the second millet festival, in the presence of the Director General of the branch of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture in the Asir region, Engineer Ahmed Al -Mujtal.
The activities are organized by the Ministry of Environment, in cooperation with the Agricultural Cooperative Society in Bariq Governorate, with the participation of a number of government agencies, including the governorate, the municipality, education, the health sector, and security authorities, which reflects societal interest in strengthening the agricultural sector in the region.

Various activities

The festival includes 25 corners for millet producers, where they display their various products, and receive visitors for three days, starting from today, from 4 pm until 10 pm, so that they can enjoy its various activities.
The festival includes many introductory workshops that aim to support farmers and stimulate tourism in the province, where the organizers seek to highlight the importance of millet cultivation and support local farmers.
The “pearls of Al -Afifi” is considered one of the most prominent agricultural crops that Bariq Governorate is famous for, and the festival has great support from the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture, which is keen to enhance agriculture and farmers, and stimulate all activities and events that serve this vital sector.
