Tahnoon bin Zayed issues a decision to reshape the Board of Trustees of Mohammed bin Zayed University for artificial intelligence headed by Khaldoun Khalifa Al Mubarak
Abu Dhabi on February 1 / WAM / based on the vision and directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State and Ruler of Abu Dhabi, “may God protect him”, on the importance of supporting the agenda of technical and research educational leadership in Abu Dhabi, His Highness Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Ruler, issued The Emirate of Abu Dhabi, Chairman of the Council of Artificial Intelligence and Advanced Technology, is a decision to reshape the Board of Trustees of the Mohammed bin Zayed University for AI, headed by His Excellency Khaldoun Khalifa Al Mubarak.
The University Board of Trustees includes in its membership each of His Excellency Jassim Muhammad Bou hero Al -Zaabi, His Excellency Saif Saeed Ghobash, Mrs. Rima Al -Muqariri Al -Muhairi, Professor Daniela Ross, Dr. Lesa Show, Mr. Ping Xiao, Mr. Martin Edelman, and Professor Eric Zing.
His Highness Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan said: “We are proud of the University of Mohammed bin Zayed for artificial intelligence, this scientific edifice that enhances the pioneering position of the UAE in the field of artificial intelligence, and embodies a forward -looking vision towards the future based on innovation and knowledge in line with the vision of our rational leadership.”
Mohammed bin Zayed University of AI is one of the most prominent educational institutions in the field of artificial intelligence in the world, and focuses on benefiting from the fourth industrial revolution, and inspires the next generation of entrepreneurs, in line with the UAE’s strategy for artificial intelligence.
The research implemented by the university contributes to finding solutions to many of the challenges facing various sectors at the local and global levels; Including health care, transportation and logistical services, the environment, energy, smart cities, manufacturing, financial technology, and others.
Since its foundation in January 2024, the Council of Artificial Intelligence and advanced technology has been organizing, implementing and developing policies and strategies related to technologies, investments, and research of artificial intelligence and advanced technology in Abu Dhabi, and developing financing, investment and research programs and programs with local and international partners, to enhance the emirate’s position in the field of artificial intelligence and advanced technology.
