UAE and Indonesia are looking to enhance bilateral cooperation in various fields

His Excellency Suhail bin Mohammed Al Mazrouei, Minister of Energy and Infrastructure, headed the Special Envoy of His Highness the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, a high -level state delegation who is visiting Indonesia from January 29 to February 1. Bilateral cooperation in various fields to advance the level of relations to horizons that reflect the aspirations of the leadership of the two friendly countries.

During the visit, His Excellency His Excellency Abdullah Salem Al Dhaheri, the Ambassador of the State to the Republic of Indonesia and a non -resident ambassador to the Democratic Democratic Republic of Timor and the Assyan League.

At the beginning of the visit, His Excellency Praboo Sobanto, President of the Republic of Indonesia, received at his residence in Jakarta, His Excellency Suhail Al Mazrouei, where His Excellency conveyed the greetings of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State “may God protect him”, and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy The President of the State and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, “may God bless him”, and His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Prime Minister and head of the Presidential Bureau, and their wishes for the leadership of the Republic of Indonesia and its friendly people more progress and prosperity.

The meeting discussed the mechanism of enhancing joint cooperation in various fields, as Emirati -Indonesian relations turned into a comprehensive strategic partnership in the political, economic, investment, commercial and cultural fields of all.

For his part, His Excellency the Indonesian President expressed his happiness at the visit of the delegation of the state, pointing to his country’s interest in developing relations with the UAE in the fields that serve the interests of both countries, where it was agreed to continue bilateral cooperation, and work to accelerate and finish the agreements and projects in preparation for their approval between the two friendly countries.

His Excellency and the accompanying delegation also met with His Excellency Agos Harimori, Minister of Coordination of Infrastructure and Development, His Excellency Sugono, Minister of Foreign Affairs, His Excellency Sri Moliani, Minister of Finance, His Excellency Hashem Jewihadico Sumo, head of the team for housing affairs, and His Excellency Rossan Rosalani, Minister of Affairs Investment, His Excellency Reda Kusumah, Chairman of the Indonesian Investment Authority, as well as senior officials in the Republic of Indonesia .

During these meetings, the path of joint investment projects and initiatives was discussed, and more opportunities are discussed in the sectors of common concern..

His Excellency also chaired the third meeting of the round table from the Emirati side, while His Excellency Sogiono headed the Indonesian side organized by the state embassy in Jakarta at the Rafees Hotel, in Jakarta yesterday, with the participation of ministers, deputies, ministers, executives and representatives of a number of Indonesian and Emirati companies, including: Etihad Airways, The Emirates Airlines, Abu Dhabi Ports, Cooling, Source, Mablab, Burj, Andok, Idaj, Abu Dhabi First Bank, Emirates International Aluminum Company, Avo, A thousand for education, and Swedish Electric.

The talks focused on investment and economic cooperation in the priority sectors for the two countries, including traditional and renewable energy, aviation, ports and logistical services, infrastructure, mining, cooling, strategic and defense industries, food security, construction and housing, banking sector, and education. The challenges and obstacles facing Emirati companies invested in Indonesia were also discussed, and ways to overcome them to ensure the smooth implementation of joint projects and initiatives.

At the end of the visit, His Excellency Suhail Al Mazrouei and the accompanying delegation met with: His Excellency Luhaut Benosar Bangitan, President of the National Economic Council, His Excellency Airlaga Hartarto, Minister of Economic Affairs Coordination, His Excellency Dhulkvli Hassan, Minister of Food Coordination, and His Excellency Halil Ladalia, Minister of Energy and Indonesian Mineral Resources, And His Excellency Fakhri Hamza, Deputy Minister of Housing Affairs and Residential Zone, and His Excellency Diaz Hindro Briono, Deputy Minister of Environment in Jakarta, where the interest of the United Arab Emirates was emphasized in developing relations in the field of economics and investment, especially the fields of food security, energy, transport and logistical services.
