King Abdulaziz University participates in the second edition with “Bridge”; The Forum for Cooperation between Universities, Development Centers and National Companies, whose work begins on Sunday 2 February in the capital, Riyadh, as an active partner with 46 research proposals, in addition to presenting the scientific product.

The research submitted and discussed the research between the authority, researchers and companies will be presented at the forum, and it is expected that these research and projects will result in the development of a number of defense systems and their resettlement in the Kingdom.
The Vice President of the University for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Amin Numan, explained that 46 research proposals were accepted to support male and female students from colleges: engineering, science, computers and information technology, presented by the university to the General Authority for Defense Development. The university received 51% of the total support provided to all the universities of the Kingdom.

He indicated that the university’s active participation in the forum is to consolidate the role and presence of the university in the participants and forums at the level of graduate projects, and the quality of their choices for important and crossed topics with the national priorities of the Kingdom, in addition to posts and support in undergraduate programs, scientific research, research centers and laboratories.

Various dialogue sessions for research paths

Dr. Noman indicated that the university will participate in a delegation from the university’s leaders, the research and innovation sector, and graduate students and their supervisors in several fields of the forum, including dialogue sessions on four research paths with the partners of the General Authority for Defense Development, such as ministries, research and innovation bodies, universities, military factories and the private sector, With the presentation of 18 discussions with students and students of our university and other participating universities.
28 posters will be presented and explained to Master’s male and female students to His Excellency the Governor of the General Authority for Defense Development and the participating bodies, as well as the participation of four researchers from the university with the sectors of military industries in the Kingdom in the fields of biotechnology, engineering and artificial intelligence.
