Dubai, February 5 / WAM / Mohamed Youssef, Director of Marketing at Red Hat International in Central and East Europe, Middle East and Africa, said that the UAE continues to consolidate its position within the pioneers in the scene of technology and artificial intelligence.
In his speech to the Emirates News Agency “WAM” during the second day of the “AI Intelligence” event in Expo Dubai, he pointed out that the UAE has a clear and ambitious vision in this field, through which it seeks to enhance innovation and investment in modern technologies.
He explained that the UAE is one of the countries that go with a steady pace in consolidating the adoption of advanced technology, pointing out that it is always at the forefront, as it is not limited to technology consumption, but rather sets clear strategies and invests in a sustainable manner in this sector.
He stressed that “Reed Hat”, as it is a company that relies on open source software, directly supports the Emirati trend towards enhancing the solutions of artificial intelligence, as the company provides its technologies to provide innovative solutions that are in line with the state’s vision in this field.
Regarding what was raised by some linguistic models such as Chat GBT, Deep Seck and Queen 2.5, Youssef considered that what is happening is the reflection of the natural development of this technology .. All technological companies compete in this field, developments will not stop, but will continue, and we will see new ideas and more advanced technologies that serve markets and consumers.
He pointed out that companies working in the technology sector must adapt to these rapid transformations, as innovation is an essential element to maintain competitiveness .. He added: “What we are witnessing today is an ongoing journey of development, and artificial intelligence will continue to stimulate growth and expansion in various sectors.”
On the performance of “Reed Hat” in the Middle East, Youssef stressed that the company is increasingly investing in the region, which is reflected in its permanent participation in major events such as “GITEX”, in addition to its presence in a large number of countries, led by the UAE.
