25 countries participate in an international "Plain skiing" Abu Dhabi tomorrow
Abu Dhabi, February 5 / WAM / The first edition of the Union International Championship for Medical Ski Championship will start tomorrow, with the participation of 304 players and players from 25 countries, including 78 from the Emirates.
The tournament, organized by the Emirates Winter Sports Federation, under the auspices of the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, will be held from February 6 to 9, at the skiing hall in Zayed Sports City.
Today, the training course for coaches on the sidelines of the tournament began in Abu Dhabi on the arbitration laws, and will conclude tomorrow with the participation of 12 coaches.
Juma Al Dhaheri, the Secretary -General of the Federation, stressed that the tournament achieves great momentum through great international participation, with expectations of strong competitions, to win the first positions, hoping that it will contribute to upgrading the capabilities of the sons and daughters of the Emirates.
He pointed out that the tournament is the best preparation before hosting the global skiing championship in Abu Dhabi next October, after choosing to host the event, given the prestigious global reputation of the state in organizing various sporting events, according to the best international standards.
