The International Criminal Court condemns an American executive order that aims to impose sanctions on it

In Statement It was issued today, Friday, the court said that it stands steadily alongside its officials and undertakes to continue its endeavor to achieve justice and provide hope to millions of innocent victims of terrible crimes around the world and in all cases before her.
The court appealed to the 100 and twenty -five member states, as well as civil society and other countries of the world, to continue the union for basic justice and human rights.
It is noteworthy that the International Criminal Court is not part of the United Nations system. Mixing sometimes occurs between the two courts. The simplest way to explain the difference is that the IAS cases include states, while the International Criminal Court considers cases against individuals on charges of war crimes or crimes against humanity.
While the International Court of Justice is one of the United Nations agencies, the International Criminal Court is legally independent of the United Nations, despite the support of its General Assembly. The International Criminal Court was established in 2002, to try the accused of the most dangerous crimes, ensure the victims reach justice, make fair trials, and complete the work of national courts.
