المملكة: Historical and heritage activities enrich the Jeddah schools celebration of “Establishment Day”

On Sunday, Jeddah Education Schools witnessed the launch of the activities of celebrating the “Foundation Day”, amid the wide participation and interaction of male and female students, through various programs and activities that highlight the historical and civilizational depths of the Kingdom since its inception 3 centuries ago.
The Director General of Education in Jeddah Governorate, Manal Al -Lahibi, emphasized that the activities aim to enhance awareness of the history of the first Saudi state and its ancient heritage, through interactive activities that include educational competitions and technical competitions that highlight the national cultural heritage.
In addition to exhibitions of heritage fashion, interactive shows of traditional crafts and popular games.
Events provide students with the opportunity to explore traditional foods and get to know the aspects of life in that historical era.

Enhancing feelings of pride and belonging

Manal Al -Lahibi explained that the implementation of these activities takes place according to the approved identity, to ensure the achievement of the goals of celebration, and to enhance feelings of pride and belonging to the Kingdom’s history of the emerging generations.

The Ministry of Education announced the launch of the activities of the Foundation Day 2025, starting today, Sunday, February 9, for a period of two weeks, as part of an integrated communication plan aimed at consolidating national values ​​and enhancing awareness of the Kingdom’s history between students and education employees.
