The Ministry of Interior reviews national and community efforts at a forum "Emirati thinkers"
ABU DHABI, 28 JANUARY / WAM / The Ministry of Interior participated in the activities of the third edition of the “Emirates Thinkers” Forum, organized by the Emirates Center for Strategic Studies and Research, in partnership with the Ministry of the Family, at the ADNEC Center Abu Dhabi, under the slogan “The Emirati Family: National Values and Modern Transformations,” coinciding with the Year of the Family (2026).
His Excellency Major General Khalifa Hareb Al Khaili, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, witnessed some of the dialogue sessions accompanying the forum, which received wide community participation, and in the presence of an elite group of experts and specialists in family and community affairs.
The Ministry’s participation came within the framework of supporting the directives of the wise government on the occasion of the Year of the Family (2026), as the departments participating in the platform, represented by the Federal Social Support Administration, the Law Respect Culture Office, and the Police Follow-up and Oversight Department, reviewed the most prominent integrated national efforts, in addition to community initiatives and programs aimed at supporting the Emirati family and enhancing community awareness.
The participation highlighted the vital role of community councils, family guidance and reform efforts, and the tasks and competencies of the concerned departments of the Ministry, in addition to reviewing the strategic plans and objectives adopted within the framework of the General Family, which contributes to strengthening the system of protection and prevention for the family and society.
Brigadier General Dr. Saif Salem Lakhrebani Al Nuaimi, Deputy Director General of Community Protection and Crime Prevention at the Ministry of Interior, confirmed that this participation comes within the framework of the Ministry of Interior’s keenness to activate and enhance social responsibility, and support national trends that consolidate authentic values and principles, contribute to strengthening family cohesion, and consolidating the foundations of societal security and stability.
