Abu Dhabi, January 29 / WAM / The “Pistol – Men’s Category” plate-dropping competition was concluded yesterday, as part of the activities of the fourteenth annual shooting championship currently being held at the Al-Reef Shooting Club in Abu Dhabi, and its competitions will continue until next February 4, amid wide participation and distinguished technical levels.
The results resulted in the Eastern Countryside team being crowned in first place, while the Fujairah team came in second place, and the Southern Countryside team came in third place, after strong competitions characterized by equality and closeness in levels.
The competition witnessed the participation of 16 teams with 80 shooters, which contributed to raising the pace of competition and highlighting the remarkable development witnessed by the sport of shooting, both in terms of technical performance and adherence to the rules of competition.
The captain of the Eastern Countryside team expressed his happiness at achieving first place, stressing that the victory was the result of teamwork, good preparation, and high concentration during the competitions.
For his part, the captain of the Fujairah team confirmed that the team’s second-place finish reflects the advanced level demonstrated by the shooters, noting that the competition was strong until the last moments.
In turn, the leader of the Southern Countryside team explained that third place is an incentive to redouble efforts during the next stage, praising the spirit of competition and artistic discipline that characterized the atmosphere of the competition.
