A 5.2 -magnitude earthquake hit the Wazzan region in Morocco

An earthquake of 5.2 on the Richter scale, Wazzan Province, north of Morocco, struck yesterday evening Monday.

The National Institute of Geophysics of the National Center for Scientific and Technical Research in Morocco, in a statement reported by the Arab Maghreb News Agency, said that the earthquake occurred at a depth of 20 km.

There were no immediate interests about human or material losses as a result of the earthquake.
