The center was opened in the Jordanian capital, Amman, last June on an area of 1.3 million square meters, with the aim of enhancing the commercial competitiveness of Jordan by providing customs solutions based on artificial intelligence, transparency supported by the “Blockchain” technology, and improving the logistical services supported by the Internet of Things.
The center will simplify the cross -border trade, reduce clearance times, and enhance the efficiency of the supply chain, in line with the global standards for facilitating trade. Cooperation between the Abu Dhabi Ports Group and the Jordan Customs Department aims to integrate advanced technologies and sustainable practices, which contributes to strengthening the Kingdom’s position as a leading regional center in the application of future solutions and logistical and customs services.
The last Amman Customs Center includes automated inspection platforms, smart warehouses, and predictive analysis techniques, which helps to enable companies to rid their goods faster, and benefit from smooth digital trade solutions, while adhering to strict security measures.

For his part, the Customs Brigade Ahmed Al -Aqalik, Director General of the Jordan Customs Department, said that cooperation with the Abu Dhabi Ports Group comes based on the referral decision issued by the Government Tenders Department, which aims to develop customs work procedures in the center and work to facilitate procedures in a way that saves time and effort and improves an environment Investing through the development processes of the Abu Dhabi Ports Group in support of customs work in the center, according to the aforementioned tender.
