“Culture” cooperates with ISESCO to support Arab and Islamic artists

In the presence of His Highness Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan, Minister of Culture, the Ministry of Culture signed an executive program with the Islamic World Education, Science and Culture Organization (ISESCO); To cooperate in supporting intellectuals, writers and artists from Arab and Islamic countries.
The signing ceremony took place today in the city of Jeddah, where the ministry represented the assistant minister of culture Rakan bin Ibrahim Al -Touq, while the ISESCO General Director, Salem bin Mohammed Al -Malik, represented.

Capacity building for artists

The executive program included several areas of cooperation between the ministry and the organization that contribute to supporting intellectuals, writers, and artists from Arab and Islamic countries, most notably cooperation between the Ministry of Culture and ISESCO in the field of capacity building for artists and writers from Arab and Islamic countries and their support, along with the concerted efforts between them in international participation .

This executive program comes within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding for Cooperation in the Cultural Field between the Ministry of Culture and the Organization of the Islamic World for Education, Science and Culture (ISESCO) signed in Riyadh during the month of December of 2022 AD.

This dictionary represents a unique and unprecedented cultural work in the world, as it is the first historical project that deals with Arabic calligraphy from an optical perspective, and monitors its development through time period By developing words and meanings, with the aim of studying Arabic calligraphy as a visual embodiment of the Arabic language, a cultural symbol of its identity, and a tool of civilized dialogue between peoples and cultures.
This executive program falls under the umbrella of the Memorandum of Understanding for cooperation in the cultural field between the Ministry of Culture and the Organization of the Islamic World for Education, Science and Culture (ISICO) signed in Riyadh during the month of December of 2022 AD, and through which the ministry seeks to unify efforts and concert to serve the art of Arabic calligraphy, and prepare connected dictionaries With it, and preserving its historical sources, as it reflects the Ministry of Culture’s keenness to enhance its cooperation and international exchange with regional and international organizations, to serve the Arabic language, Arabic calligraphy and its arts, under the umbrella of the Kingdom’s 2030 vision.
