The Al -Baha Winter Festival in the Thami Strip, “The Winter of the Father Al -Baha”, has become an opportunity to show some ancient heritage arts that the Al -Baha region is famous, including the art of playing the “flute”.
And the lover of the artistic heritage in the region, Mohamed Hassan Al -Zahrani, transferred the festival visitors to the atmosphere of the lives of the people in the mountains of Sarat and Tahmah, and the profession of grazing and agriculture, by playing his “flute” machine.

Al -Zahrani talked about the art of playing the flute, and he promised him from the ancient folk arts that were present in the Al -Baha region and called “Al -Saraqa”.

He pointed out that some parents and grandparents were playing this machine when they granted the sheep in the high mountains, with various melodies, and are still used as a symbol of Saudi popular culture in national festivals and celebrations inside and outside the Kingdom, stressing that this type of art is part of the culture of the people of Al -Baha.
