Ahmed bin Saeed is looking to strengthen cooperation with the President of the Middle East Air
Dubai, February 14/ WAM/ His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Supreme President, CEO of Emirates Airlines and the group received this morning at his office at the Emirates Group headquarters, Mohamed Abdel Rahman Al -Hout, Chairman of the Board of Directors, General Manager of Middle East Air Company.
During the meeting, the two sides reviewed ways to enhance joint cooperation between the two carriers and exchange views on the developments of the aviation sector, challenges and opportunities available in the region.
His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum praised the great efforts made by the Middle East Airlines, praising its pivotal role during the recent crisis in Lebanon.
His Highness stressed that the Lebanese national carrier was the vital artery that kept Lebanon connected to the world, which enabled the Lebanese at home and abroad to maintain communication and movement under the difficult circumstances.
The meeting also touched on the importance of enhancing cooperation between the two carriers in a way that contributes to supporting the aviation sector in the region and enhancing the air linking between regional and international markets, as they exchanged views on the latest developments in the air transport industry and the importance of adopting innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency and customer service.
