An Emirati company displays in Galvood 2025 foods ready for consumption in space

Dubai, February 17 / WAM / An emerging Emirati company displays its specialized project in preparing foods ready for consumption in space within the Galvood 2025, which is the first project of its kind in the region, as it depends on modern techniques to ensure food sustainability and safety in space conditions, with the import of advanced equipment to ensure Quality.
Nariman Al -Hashemi, founder and CEO of the company, said that the project aims to produce long -lasting meals while maintaining their quality and nutritional value, using modern techniques to prolong food in natural ways.
The company has completed the necessary research and is currently in the process of obtaining official approvals to start local production, as the project includes manufacturing an advanced device within the country that allows food to be preserved for periods ranging from two to ten years, according to the method of packaging and storage. She pointed out that the device can process a wide range of food products, from fruits and vegetables to integrated meals such as biryani and zezoto, which makes it a practical solution to space missions.
Al -Hashemi added that the company, which focuses on sustainability and food security, is also working on the Local Farm initiative to transport local products from farms to the consumer, as well as develop advanced technologies to reduce food waste and recycle consumption products in innovative ways. She also made it clear that part of the company’s profits are allocated to support charitable initiatives, which include providing meals for needy children and financing girls’ education. Meanwhile, Saeed Matar Al -Marri, Deputy Executive Director of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Foundation for Small and Medium Enterprises Development, said that the Foundation has provided funds exceeding 250 million dirhams to support emerging projects since its establishment in 2002, with plans to increase this support in the future.
Al -Marri added in a statement to the Emirates News Agency on the sidelines of the Galvood 2025 exhibition, which was opened today at the Dubai World Trade Center that the food and beverage sector is witnessing an annual growth of 10%, which reflects the increasing interest of Emirati entrepreneurs in this field. The Foundation participates in seven startups specialized in the food and beverage sector, representing 70% of the total companies under its umbrella.
Al -Marri added that Galvood represents an important global platform for entrepreneurs to display their latest innovations in the food and beverage sector, and to expand international markets, stressing the Foundation’s keenness to provide opportunities for Emirati entrepreneurs to enhance their competitiveness in this field.
