His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, First Deputy Governor of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, praised the exceptional growth achieved by the Dubai International Financial Center for 20 years.

His Highness said through his official account on the “X” website: “The exceptional growth of the Dubai International Financial Center for 20 years embodies the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum in consolidating Dubai’s financial leadership globally.”

His Highness added: “In 2024, the center recorded the best annual performance in its history, by increasing the collected revenues by 37% to reach 1.78 billion dirhams. To 46,078 people, and the technology and innovation sector also witnessed an unprecedented growth of 38%. ”

His Highness continued, saying: “Today we are the product of the insightful vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, and we continue to strengthen an integrated international financial environment that supports innovation, and consolidates Dubai’s position as a global financial city that leads the future.”
