The President of the State awards the Ambassador of Mauritania with the Order of Independence, First Class

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, awarded the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania to the UAE, Mohamed Ahmed Rara, the Order of Independence, First Class, in appreciation of the efforts he made during his work as his country’s ambassador to the country, which contributed to developing and strengthening relations between the two brotherly countries in various fields.

Khalifa Shaheen Al Marar, Minister of State, awarded Rara the medal while receiving him at the General Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Abu Dhabi, and conveyed to him the leadership’s appreciation for the efforts he made during his work in the country.

His Excellency expressed his wishes for success in his work and new tasks, praising his role in strengthening the distinguished relations between the United Arab Emirates and the Islamic Republic of Mauritania and developing prospects for cooperation to serve the common interests and aspirations of the two brotherly countries and peoples.

For his part, he expressed his pride in this medal, which expresses the depth of fraternal relations and distinguished bilateral cooperation, and his deep appreciation and thanks to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God protect him,” praising the growing bilateral relations between the two countries at all levels, and the progress and achievements achieved by the UAE that reflect the leadership’s vision and its keenness to strengthen the country’s position in the international arena.

The Ambassador thanked all government agencies in the UAE for the cooperation he found that had a positive impact on the success of his mission in consolidating relations between the two brotherly countries.
