The decrease in the prices of 11 varieties of vegetables during a month .. and “tomatoes” in the forefront

The prices of 11 varieties of vegetables decreased during last January, on a monthly basis, while 14 varieties rose.
According to the average bulletin and services issued by the Statistics Authority, local tomatoes topped the list of the most low varieties by 14.2%, recording 6.1 riyals per kilo.

According to the bulletin, the price of green beans decreased by 5.8%, to 11.18 riyals per kilo, while the price of cold green peppers decreased 3.3% to 8.49 riyals per kilo.
The price of hot green pepper on a monthly basis decreased by 1.9% to 9.41 riyals, while the price of imported tomatoes decreased 9.4%, to 6.88 riyals per kilo.
The price of local lettuce decreased by 3% last January, on a monthly basis, to 6.44 riyals, while the price of local onions decreased 8.6% to 5.64 riyals per kilo.
The price of imported onions decreased by 1.9% to 6.4 riyals per kilo, while the price of lentils fell 0.7% to 10.17 riyals per kilo on a monthly basis last January.
The price of the fava beans recorded 4.7 riyals, down 1.7%, while the price of local potatoes decreased by 9.3% to 4.57 riyals per kilo.
The local okra rose by 2.2% to 15.96 riyals, while the price of local black eggplant increased 8.1% to 5.48 riyals in January on a monthly basis.
The price of local zucchini reached 7.09 riyals per kilo, up by 8.7%, while the price of honey pumpkin increased 6% to 5.81 riyals.
The local option tops the list of varieties with 24.6%, recording 6.88 riyals per kilo, while the price of the white filtered 5.6% increased to 4.35 riyals.
The local molokhia price recorded 2.55 riyals, up 0.4%, while the price of parsley increased by 1.9% to 1.07 riyals, while the price of spinach rose 4.1% to 1.26 riyals.
The price of Chinese garlic increased by 1.7% to 12.26 riyals per kilo, while the price of local tomato sauce increased 0.5% to 2.02 riyals.
The price of the local islands recorded 6 riyals per kilo, up 4.4%, while the price of Spanish black olives increased by 1.9% to 24.85 riyals per kilo.
