Sharjah Research, Technology and Innovation Complex hosts activities "Day of innovation"

Sharjah, February 19 / WAM / The Sharjah Complex for Research, Technology and Innovation organized the activities of “Innovation Day”, within the activities of the Emirates Innovation month “Emirates invent 2025”, which this year celebrates the ten -year anniversary of its launch.

The events continue for two days and organized by the complex in coordination with the Federal Affairs Office in the Emirate of Sharjah and the Mohammed bin Rashid Center for Government Innovation and gathered many government agencies in the Emirate of Sharjah, in the presence of Sheikh Saud bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Director General of the Sharjah Digital Department, and a number of heads and directors of government and private departments In Sharjah.

His Excellency Hussein Al -Mahmoudi, Executive Director of the Sharjah Complex for Research, Technology and Innovation, stressed the importance of the event in enhancing cooperation between various sectors and supporting innovation is a major tool for achieving economic and cognitive development.

He expressed pride that the complex is the platform that embraces this event, which establishes the role of Sharjah in supporting government innovation and entrepreneurship, explaining that innovation is the main driver to achieve development.

For its part, Abeer Hulk, Director of the Mohammed bin Rashid Center for Government Innovation, confirmed that the month of innovation is an exceptional annual platform to enhance the culture of innovation in government work and society, and a stimulating environment to develop sustainable ideas that aim to enhance the quality of the life of the UAE society, praising the initiatives and distinguished participation of Sharjah In organizing the activities of the “Emirates is invented” since the first session.

She said that the Emirates Innovation month this year coincides with the tenth anniversary of the founding of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Center for Government Innovation, which worked to spread the culture of innovation in government work and make it a basis for initiatives and projects.

A number of government agencies that were displayed through 14 wings with interactive screens, initial models and innovative solutions that enhance development in various sectors participated in the event.
