The launch of the activities of the Al -Dhafra Maritime Forum for the owners of determination
Abu Dhabi, February 20 / WAM / The activities of the Al -Dhafra Maritime Forum for the People of Determination were launched yesterday evening, which is organized by the Zayed Upper Foundation for the owners of determination in cooperation with the Abu Dhabi Heritage Authority and several other parties, on the sidelines of Al -Dhafra Marine Festival in its sixteenth session.
The forum witnessed a wide presence, exceeding 300 participants from senior citizens, people of determination, school students, and representatives of government agencies, in confirmation of the state’s commitment to enhancing societal and sports integration, and consolidating the principle of totalitarianism and parity among all members of society.
The forum includes a series of sports competitions that aim to enable people of determination and enhance their participation in sports activities, the most prominent of which is the marathon of the program, which witnessed a wide participation of different societal groups, in confirmation of the role of sport in enhancing social interaction and spreading the culture of integration, and the rowing race in Kayak, which was organized in partnership With Abu Dhabi Maritime Club.
The competitions also included the archery championship that was organized in cooperation with the Saif bin Zayed Academy of Police and Security Sciences, and allocated to the categories of motor and mental disabilities, in addition to the Pochi championship, which was characterized by a great interaction from the participants, and reflected the spirit of positive competition and challenge, and the heritage folk games that aim to revive heritage. Emirati and introducing new generations to popular heritage, promoting For national identity.
The forum included a set of heritage and artistic activities, including heritage music shows organized in cooperation with the region’s schools, which reflects the Emirati traditional arts and student competitions designed to enhance the interaction between the participants, and support young talents in a stimulating educational competitive environment.
The Al -Dhafra Maritime Forum for People of Determination aims to enhance societal and sports integration, and highlight the importance of the Emirati marine heritage, by providing a comprehensive environment that encourages interaction and solidarity between the groups of society.
