Minister of State for Entrepreneurship opens the 13th session of "Dubai Step"

Dubai February 20 / WAM / His Excellency Alia Bint Abdullah Al Mazrouei, Minister of State for Entrepreneurship, opened the activities of the 13th edition of “Step Dubai 2025″, the most prominent technological festival in the Middle East and North Africa, which lasts for two days, in Dubai Internet City of the Group of ” Tecom, “with the participation of a number of officials, experts and specialists in the technology sector.

The opening was attended by Abdullah Balhoul, CEO of the Tikom Group, Ammar Al -Malik, Executive Deputy President of the Tikom Group and General Manager of Dubai Internet City, Wrie Dergham, founder and CEO of the “Step” brand, in addition to a group of dignitaries and those interested in the technology sector in the region.

Ammar Al -Malik stressed the importance of entrepreneurship as an essential engine of technological innovation and support for sustainable economic growth, noting that “Step Dubai” provides participants in depth visions about the future of entrepreneurs in the region, supported by modern technology.

As a strategic partner of the event, Dubai Internet City continues its pivotal role in attracting the brightest minds from all over the world to reach innovations based on advanced technology in line with the targets of Dubai Economic Agenda “D33”.

In the context of the global expansion of the event, the launch of “Istanbul” was announced as the first partner event, as it will be held next May 12, followed by the “Step San Francisco” version scheduled for next August 20.

Ray Dergham explained that these expansions reflect the commitment of “Step”, to establish his position as a global platform for innovation and entrepreneurship, stressing that hosting the event in new markets contributes to achieving this vision.

During his 13 -year -old career, Step hosted thousands of startups, while Step Dubai 2025 attracts more than 8,000 participants and 200 speakers, and provides a financing platform estimated at 9 billion dollars.
