" Kalba Sports Club" Launches the activities of Artificial Intelligence Week
Kalba, 14 July / WAM / Kalba Sports and Cultural Club launched the activities of Artificial Intelligence Week within the Sharjah Summer Sports Program “Our Vacation is Not”, as part of its efforts aimed at developing the skills of young people and promoting the culture of innovation and modern technologies.
Artificial Intelligence Week includes a series of educational, applied and sports programs aimed at developing the skills of participants in the fields of innovation and artificial intelligence, through specialized workshops, a mobile robotics program, applied activities and field visits to the Kalba Youth Center, which contributes to enhancing knowledge and linking the theoretical aspect to practical application.
The events witnessed a workshop entitled “Explore your future identity in 2050” presented by the SYNERGY MIND Academy, and focused on developing creative thinking skills and anticipating the future, in addition to implementing sports programs that included laser ring competitions, table tennis, volleyball, and basketball, in addition to chess competitions and workshops for designing and installing space models.
The launch was attended by Abdul Rahman Ibrahim Al Darmaki, Member of the Club’s Board of Directors and Secretary General, Abdullah Ali Al Balushi, Member of the Board of Directors and Director of the Individual Games Department, and Abdullah Muhammad Bin Howeiden, Member of the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the Program, who confirmed that Artificial Intelligence Week embodies the Kalba Club’s keenness to keep pace with the UAE’s trends to spread the culture of innovation and prepare a generation that possesses the skills of the future, through integrated programs that combine education, entertainment and practical application.
He added that the program is witnessing great interaction from participants and parents, which reflects its success in achieving its educational and societal goals, and enhancing the club’s role in supporting national initiatives aimed at building a knowledge society capable of keeping pace with technical developments.
