The Minister of Communications and Information Technology Abdullah bin Amer Al -Sawah stressed that the Kingdom has become a strategic partner for the United States and the world in bridging digital gaps and leading the transformation towards the “smart age”, highlighting the Kingdom’s efforts and ambitious vision to enhance global cooperation in the field of artificial intelligence and emerging technologies.
This came in his speech at the main session of the third edition of the “Priority” summit for the Fii Priority initiative held in Miami, USA under the title “Investing with a goal”.

Al -Sawah pointed out that the Kingdom’s 2030 vision, launched by His Highness the Crown Prince, Prime Minister Prince Muhammad bin Salman -may God protect him -formed the “most prominent success story in the twenty -first century”, to become the Kingdom’s digital economy approximately 132 billion dollars, a share of 50% of The size of the regional digital economy amounting to 260 billion dollars, noting that the number of technical talented people in the Kingdom increased from 150 thousand to 381 thousand, which reflects Rapid growth in the fields of technology and innovation.

It also highlighted the polarization of major global investments such as Oracle, Google and Microsoft, which made the Kingdom classify one of the largest global growth centers.
Al -Sawah concluded his speech by inviting the world to consider the Kingdom the perfect partner to accelerate the adoption of artificial intelligence, expressing its confidence in the ability of international cooperation to overcome challenges and reach the sustainable productivity stage in this field, appreciating the role of the future investment initiative in collecting thought and investment leaders to make the future of technology.
