Partnership between “Javza” and “Haldim” to create one of the largest facilities for saffron treatment in the Gulf

The Jabal Ali Jafza Free Zone signed a strategic partnership with the Indo -International Food brand “Haldim” to create one of the largest facilities of saffron treatment in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries.
The new partnership was announced on the sidelines of Javza’s participation at the Gulfood Exhibition in Dubai, and the facility, to be opened in March 2025, will be operated by Kisar Experm & Bakars, specialized in the treatment of saffron with 22 years of experience in India.
The facility will obtain a global -recognized European Food Safety Management Management Certificate, to ensure the highest quality and purity criteria for productive saffron.
In its first stage, the facility aims to address 30 metric tons of saffron, with ambitious plans to increase production to 100 metric tons during the next five years, by taking advantage of the comprehensive economic partnership agreement between the UAE and the Republic of India, and from the advanced infrastructure and global connection provided by both Javza And the port of Jebel Ali.
The two parties discussed the opportunities for future cooperation to expand the presence of “Haldem Sweets” in Dubai, and to increase investment in food processing and distribution facilities.
This agreement reflects the role of Dubai as a leading global commercial center, and enhances the growth of the food and beverage sector in Javza, which currently includes more than 770 companies specialized in this field.
