Distinctive results for the Sharjah club players in the Austria International Chess Championship

Vienna on February 22/ WAM/ The first team players in the Sharjah Chess Club concluded their participation in the “International Chess” Championship in Austria, by winning distinguished results and improving their international rankings during the tournament that was held during the period from 12 to 21 February, with the participation of the elite players at a level the world.
The team’s list included 4 players, the international professor Omar Noman, Saif Ahmed Al -Zarouni, Salem Abdel Rahim and Mohamed Muslim, under the supervision of the international coach, Vivoel Lurdachesco.
International Professor Omar Noman scored 6 points from 9 rounds, achieving an increase in his international ranking at a rate of 26 points, and the player Saif Al -Zarouni achieved an increase in his international classification rate by 47 points and a score of 4.5 points.
And the international Salem Abdul Rahim achieved 7 points from 9 rounds and in second place, repeating an increase in the international classification of 36 points, in the second group, and Muhammad Muslim was equal in second place, repeating with 7 points, and an increase in the international classification at a rate of 58 points.
Abdullah Murad Al -Mazmi, head of the technical staff, praised the distinguished results of the players and an increase in their international rankings, stressing that the participation was a valuable opportunity to gain experiences and learn about new strategies in the world of chess.
