The President of the State meets President Sergio Matarella in the context of a “state visit” to Italy

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God protect him”, and His Excellency Sergio Matarella, President of the Italian Republic, discussed bilateral relations between the UAE and Italy within the framework of their strategic partnership and mutual keenness to achieve its goals.

The Italian President, during the meeting that took place in the presidential palace in Rome – welcomed His Highness the President of the State … expressing his confidence that His Highness’s visit constitutes a strong push for the path of the two countries’ relations at various levels … while His Highness expressed his happiness to visit the country of civilization and ancient history .. His Highness “The two countries are united by strong strategic relations … and my visit today expresses the UAE’s keenness to push these relations forward in the interest of the joint development in the two countries.”
