The relationship between nature and mental health
She referred to “Al -Youm” supervising the awareness programs Alia Al -Asil, to the establishment of a workshop within the activities of the program under the title “From Nature to Self”, in cooperation with the Mudar Charitable Association, pointing out that the workshop hosted the psychologist Nasser Al -Rashed, who highlighted the close relationship Between nature and mental health.
And how nature contributes to relieving stress, improving mood and enhancing mental capabilities, concluding the workshop with exercises that contemplate the arms of nature.

In a related context, Eng. Mahdi Al -Buri presented a workshop on home agriculture, revealing the secrets of caring for plants and how to benefit from the goods of the land in the homes.
Participants interacted with the workshop, expressing their appreciation for this unique experience that combined health awareness and the beauty of nature.
Skills needed to confront diabetes
Al -Aseel emphasized that the program aims to enable community members, especially the groups most vulnerable to diabetes, by providing them with necessary life skills. These skills include healthy shopping, healthy cooking, agriculture, sports, and meditation.
She pointed out that the program depends on the method of collective education, which contributes to changing healthy behaviors effectively, and reduces the risk of type 2 diabetes in rates of up to 58%.
Various awareness
She indicated that a different societal awareness initiative is launched every 3 months with the aim of improving the quality of life in society by meeting the needs of its members and their interaction, which contributes to enhancing confidence and participation between the health facility and members of the local community.
Al -Aseel said, this program was implemented in several health centers in Qatif, including Al -Qudaih Health Center 1, and a series of workshops related to balanced feeding, physical activity and hobbies have included, and since wellness is a complementary seminar of physical, mental and psychological health, this program was organized.
