Emirates Scientific Club qualifies for the world championship “Fix for Educational robots”

Dubai, February 24 / WAM / The Emirates Scientific Club qualified for the World Educational robotics “, which will be held in the United States of America from 6 to 14 May.

This qualification came after an exceptional performance in the National Robot Championship, which was organized by the Foundation for a quarter of a century in the Sharjah Research and Technology Complex on February 22 and 23, where the club won 8 prestigious prizes, including first place, and prizes for excellence and design with its branches of the middle and advanced phases.

The Fix Championship is one of the most prominent international competitions in the field of educational robots, where the participants are competing to develop smart robots capable of carrying out complex tasks that require high skills in mechanical design, programming, and logical analysis.

Bilal Al -Badour, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Culture and Science Symposium, stressed that this achievement reflects the creative capabilities and technical skills enjoyed by the UAE youth, noting that winning 8 awards reflects successful investment in creative minds, and stresses the importance of supporting young talents and enhancing the culture of innovation and scientific research.

For his part, Dr. Issa Al -Bastaki, President of the Emirates Scientific Club, stressed that this achievement establishes the UAE’s position in the fields of science, technology and engineering, noting that the participation of teams in the world championship gives them an opportunity to refine their skills, learn from international experiences, and enhance their capabilities in digital economy and artificial intelligence .
