The Ministry of Health and Population organized an educational symposium entitled “Crisis Management Determinants of National Security” as part of its keenness to enhance institutional awareness of the importance of crisis management and its role in supporting national security.
The symposium aims to raise the efficiency of preparedness for challenges, and to consolidate advance planning and coordination between agencies, to ensure the stability of the health system and its ability to confront it. Emergency.
Dr. Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, the Ministry’s official spokesman, explained that the symposium targeted administrative and executive leaders in the Ministry’s offices and health affairs directorates in the governorates, along with hospital directors, their deputies, agents, and affiliated entities, with a total of 250 participants, in order to raise awareness and build leadership capabilities in crisis management, and enhance institutional readiness to support health security. For his part, Dr. Mohamed Shaqwir, head of the therapeutic institution, said that the symposium was organized in cooperation with the medical professions development sector, within the framework of strengthening professional capabilities and raising the efficiency of workers, to enable them to deal with them. In his speech, Major General Dr. Samir Faraj, the strategic thinker, expressed his appreciation for the ministry’s efforts in qualifying workers and raising their awareness of security threats, stressing the importance of every individual being familiar with these challenges, and wishing to circulate such programs among state institutions to enhance national awareness and preparedness for risks.
