ISESCO and the Emirates Research Center sign a memorandum of understanding to enhance scientific research and innovation

Abu Dhabi, February 24 / WAM / The Islamic World Organization for Education, Science and Culture (ISESCO), represented by its regional office in Sharjah, signed a memorandum of understanding with the Emirates Research and Studies Research Center of the Emirates Science and Research Foundation.

The memo aims to establish a unique model in the field of serving global issues through the exchange of knowledge and experiences and promoting joint research projects, in the context of a common vision to achieve integration and cooperation between academic institutions and international organizations, and promoting innovation and scientific research.

The signature of the memo came on the sidelines of the second edition of the “International Conference on Dialogue of Civilizations and Tolerance” hosted by the Emirati capital Abu Dhabi under the slogan “Empowering young people for a tolerant future.”

The memorandum was signed by the “ISESCO” organization, His Excellency Salem Omar Salem, Director of the Regional Office of the Organization in Sharjah, and by the Emirates Research Center, Dr. Firas Habal, the head of the center, Vice -Chairman of the Board of Trustees, who emphasized that this partnership reflects the center’s commitment to developing scientific research and innovation through cooperation with the leading international organizations .. Pointing out that the memo opens new horizons for academic cooperation and supporting research initiatives that enhance dialogue and joint understanding.

His Excellency Salem Omar Salem stressed that the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding with the Emirates Research Center for Research and Studies is compatible with the policy and roles of the regional office in continuing to support scientific research and innovation and enhance cooperation with the leading academic institutions.

He said that ISESCO believes in the importance of uniting efforts to enhance the role of science in consolidating the values ​​of dialogue and tolerance to serve the future of future generations and enhance the rapprochement between the peoples of the Islamic world in the fields of education, science and culture.

For his part, Dr. Firas Habbal stressed that scientific research is the basis for building a more tolerant and sustainable future, pointing out that partnership with ISESCO is a pivotal step towards enhancing academic cooperation and developing innovative research projects that contribute to finding practical solutions to global challenges.
