Al -Faruq Mosque and Center Omar bin Al -Khattab revives the month of Ramadan with various religious and charitable activities

The Al -Farouq Mosque and Center, Omar bin Al -Khattab, may God be pleased with him, will be launched in Dubai, a series of distinguished religious and charitable events under the auspices of Khalaf bin Ahmed Al Habtoor, which aims to enhance the spirit of societal solidarity.
One of the most prominent activities of this holy month is hosting a group of distinguished readers who will lead worshipers throughout the month. Where His Eminence Sheikh Dr. Fares Al -Mustafa, a preacher and imam of the mosque, will take over the imam of the worshipers from 1 to 4 Ramadan, followed by His Eminence Sheikh Ismail Hassan Ismail Ahmed, the imam of the Umm Al -Shajer Mosque, Al -Hadd, in the Kingdom of Bahrain, from 5 to 10 Ramadan.
His Eminence Sheikh Dr. Abdullah Muhammad Yahya Ghaylan, the imam of the Ibn Al -Qayyim Mosque in Medina, Saudi Arabia, from 11 to 15 Ramadan, then Sheikh Abdulaziz Salem Al -Zahrani, Sharia Adviser at the Ministry of Justice, Saudi Arabia, from 16 to 20 Ramadan, to return Sheikh Dr. Fares Al -Mustafa in the last ten days.
The mosque also continues to provide charitable initiatives, as it is distributed 2,500 Mir Ramadan cards to the arrogant Emirati families to help them buy their food needs during the month of Ramadan, in cooperation with the Dubai Police and Al Habtoor Group. In addition, the mosque offers more than 2,000 breakfasts per day to the fasting people, with the total meals presented last year reaching 65,000 meals.
In a step to enhance cultural communication, the mosque opens its doors to non -Muslim communities, including representatives of foreign consuls, to introduce them to the values of Islam and the culture of the UAE. They also have the opportunity to share Muslims in breakfast, which enhances understanding and coexistence between different cultures.
The religious program also includes daily lessons after the afternoon prayer delivered by Sheikh Dr. Fares Al -Mustafa, entitled “Qaym”, where in each lesson it deals with a different Islamic value such as tolerance, recommendation, citizenship, and wisdom. The mosque also presents a daily program on Instagram entitled “Nesat from Nour”, which provides spiritually and awareness content that enriches the followers.
It is worth noting that in 2024, the Al -Faruq mosque and center of Omar bin Al -Khattab received more than 53,048 visitors, of whom 2,075 are school students, which reflects its effective role in spreading religious knowledge and promoting Islamic culture in society.
Abdel Salam Al Marzouqi, Director General of the Mosque, stressed that these initiatives come within the framework of the keenness of the mosque and center of Al -Faruq Omar bin Al -Khattab to enhance the values of tolerance and social solidarity during the month of Ramadan, noting that the activities aim to provide a distinguished religious and social experience that is in line with the spirit of the holy month and reflects the vision of a state The United Arab Emirates in promoting coexistence and cohesion between different groups of society.
