Abu Dhabi, February 26 / WAM / The pace of economic and investment relations between the United Arab Emirates and the Turkish Republic accelerated, as the volume of Emirati investments in Turkey has reached more than 6 billion dollars in recent years, while Turkish investments in the UAE have increased to exceed the value of Turkish companies taken from the UAE as a headquarters of more than 3 billion dollars.

Burak Daglioglu, head of the Investment Office in the Republic of Turkey, expected, in a statement to the Emirates News Agency, on the sidelines of his participation in the activities of the fourth edition of “Investopia 2025” held in Abu Dhabi, that this cooperation will witness further growth driven by the comprehensive economic partnership agreement that contributed to enhancing investment flows between the two countries.

Ihsanoglu stressed that Turkish companies seek to pump many large investments in the UAE, and to enhance their presence in various global markets by benefiting from the Emirates site as a global commercial center that allows access to Asian and African markets.

He said that Türkiye provides attractive investment opportunities for Emirati investors thanks to its multiple commercial agreements, and includes the Customs Union agreement with the European Union and 30 free trade agreements, which allows reaching a market of more than a billion consumers.

He stressed the importance of strengthening the investment dialogue between the two sides, as it carries the future of cooperation between the UAE and Turkey great potential for joint growth, pointing to the role of “Investopia” as a prominent global platform that provides an ideal environment for discussing bilateral and multilateral investment opportunities.
