Officials of Hajj and Umrah campaigns in the state confirmed the high prices of Ramadan Umrah this year by about 10%, while the price of Umrah nights in the last ten month reaches 3000 dirhams, and it is seized 10 full days as an integrated “Bakdj”.

In detail, an official of a campaign for Hajj and Umrah, Ahmed Suleiman, pointed to the varying prices of the Umrah of Ramadan in general, based on the way to travel by land or air, as well as the level of residence and hotels, and pointed out that the Umrah prices during the last ten days rise by about 60%.

He stated that the average price of wild Umrah for five days starts from 1300 dirhams and reaches 1900 dirhams in the first days of the holy month, and the Umrah prices start by flying from 3500 dirhams, and reach 6000 dirhams, while more than in the last days, given the great demand for Umrah in the last ten days.

Suleiman advised those wishing to live in Umrah during the month of Ramadan, to apply early, noting that, according to the directions received on vaccinations, it is advised to take the vaccination of forklines and influenza vaccination, especially for travelers by land.

An official in another campaign for Hajj and Umrah, Sayed Shafiq, said that the prices of Ramadan Umrah increased by approximately 10%, compared to Ramadan prices last year, while the prices differ from day to day during the days of Ramadan, according to the offer and demand, and he mentioned that the Umrah prices by flying in the last ten days of Ramadan are increasing by a large rate and up to 3000 dirhams per night, while the prices do not increase remarkably in relation to land travel, whether at the beginning of the holy month or the end, Approximately 1500 dirhams for Umrah for 10 days.

He pointed out that the prices of Umrah in the last ten days rise naturally, due to the level of increasing demand from pilgrims who want to perform Umrah during these days, and these days are always booked without dividing them, while prices ranged between 9000 dirhams and 18 thousand dirhams for Umrah in the last ten days.

An official of a campaign for Hajj and Umrah, Jihad Moussa, attributed the high prices of Umrah Ramadan to various factors, including the high prices of airline tickets, hotel prices, and the level of demand for Umrah during the holy month.

He stated that the average price of Umrah Ramadan varies from one place to another according to the level of residence and aviation, and the number of days of Umrah, and Umrah reaches a period of three nights to 5,000 dirhams, while the last ten Umrah is seized in full.
