The President of the State and the Prime Minister of Greece discusses strengthening the relations of the two countries

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, and Kiriacos Mitsotakis, Prime Minister of the Republic of Greece, discussed today the various aspects of bilateral relations and ways to enhance them, especially in the development fields, within the framework of the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, during the meeting that took place at the Beach Palace in Abu Dhabi, welcomed the Prime Minister of Greece and the accompanying delegation, looking forward to his visit to the state contributing to promoting joint work to achieve the goals of the strategic partnership in the interest of the two countries and their people.

His Highness and Kiriacos Mitsotakis reviewed the paths of cooperation between the United Arab Emirates and the Republic of Greece, especially in the economy, advanced technology, artificial intelligence, investment, food security, renewable energy and other areas that support the common development of the two countries.

His Highness and the Greek Prime Minister also exchanged views on developments on the regional and international arenas, stressing the importance of working to find peaceful settlements of the disputes and crises witnessed in the region and the world and pushing diplomatic endeavors that contribute to achieving the aspirations of peoples to peace, prosperity and development and enhance security and regional and global stability.

The meeting was attended by His Highness Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Ruler of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, the National Security Adviser, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the Presidency Bureau for Special Affairs, Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Advisor to the President of the State, and Reem Bint Ibrahim Al Hashemi, Minister of State for International Cooperation, Dr. Sultan bin Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology, Dr. Ali Obaid Al Dhahir Greece and a number of officials.
