"The institutions of Muhammad bin Khalid cultural" It organizes the creativity and innovation exhibition
Al -Ain, February 27/ WAM/ The institutions of Sheikh Mohammed bin Khaled Al Nahyan Cultural, concluded the activities of the month of innovation, with the establishment of the exhibition “Creativity and Innovation”, yesterday, under the patronage of Sheikha Dr. Shamma bint Mohammed bin Khaled Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Institutions.
Sheikha, Dr. Shamma bint Mohammed bin Khaled Al Nahyan, in her speech delivered on her behalf by Maryam Hamad Al Shamsi, Secretary -General of Institutions, expressed her happiness at organizing the creativity and innovation exhibition under the slogan “Generations that are invented”, within the initiative of the Smart Projects Laboratory, which embodies the commitment of institutions to support innovative ideas that achieve sustainability.
She stressed the importance of keeping pace with the digital age in which we live, noting that the development and enrollment of the digital ages requires the formation of generations that are able to the capabilities and energies of the innovative critical mind capable of facing challenges, solving problems, creativity and thinking in an innovative way.
She added that from this standpoint, our leadership put future strategies by raising a conscious and qualified generation to face the challenges of the future with an innovative and creative mind and is able to think creative as a major step in developing their innovative capabilities, and providing the opportunity to discover their talents and develop them in an educational environment in support of building the innovative and creative critical mind.
She emphasized the role of community institutions and public benefit societies in supporting state strategies, and this is what the institutions of Sheikh Mohammed bin Khaled Al Nahyan seek faith and a commitment to supporting innovative ideas and contributing to enhancing the role of education in discovering creative talents among students, consolidating a culture of innovation and outside stereotypes and providing an incubating environment for creativity, developing the critical mind and enhancing the skills of the twenty -first century.
Sheikha Dr. Shamma bint Muhammad bin Khaled Al Nahyan added that sustainability and innovation are two basic elements for achieving a sustainable, prosperous and innovation future that can contribute to developing new and sustainable solutions to environmental and social challenges, by enhancing innovative thinking and providing a supportive environment for creativity.
Students from the universities of the Emirates, Abu Dhabi, Al -Ain, Higher Colleges of Technology and the Institute of Applied Secondary Technology in Al Ain participated in the exhibition, along with students from several governmental and private schools in which they presented their innovative creations.
