1346 new industrial licenses with 50 billion riyals investments in 2024
This comes within the framework of the Ministry’s efforts to motivate and enhance growth in the Kingdom.
Industrial licenses
The bulletin issued by the National Center for Industrial and Minute Information of the Ministry, which provides a comprehensive analysis of the indicators and variables of the industrial sector during the past year, revealed that the total number of jobs that the new industrial licenses issued in 2024 will be estimated at 44 thousand jobs.
The bulletin indicated that the total number of factories that started production during the year 2024 amounted to 1,075 factories, with an investment size of more than 48 billion riyals, and the size of the workforce in these factories is estimated at 39 thousand workers.
It is noteworthy that the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources is issued through the National Center for Industrial and Minute Information periodically the most important industrial indicators that reflect the movement of industrial activity in the Kingdom, as well as reveal the size of the change in the sector, whether in the volume of new industrial licenses, or factories that started production.
