Delivery of 330 housing units funded by the Saudi Fund for Development in Tunisia

The Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to Tunisia, Dr. Abdulaziz bin Ali Al -Saqr, and the Tunisian Minister of Equipment and Housing, Sarah Al -Za`farani, honored the delivery of 330 collective housing funded from Ben Arous Governorate, south of the capital, Tunis.
The first stage of the total project, which is distributed in a number of governorates, includes the provision of 4,715 social housing, with facilitated funding from the Saudi Fund for Development, amounting to $ 150 million.

Providing adequate housing for the Tunisian citizen

In a speech to her, the Minister of Equipment and Housing expressed thanks and appreciation to the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for its support and permanent standing alongside Tunisia, in the various stages it is going through.
The Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to Tunisia congratulated the families benefiting from the project aimed at providing adequate housing for the Tunisian citizen.

Saudi Arabia’s support for growth and development in Tunisia

He explained that “handing over citizens from Bin Arous Governorate these social housing carries a message of keenness to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s keenness to secure housing and health for citizens.”
He continued: The Kingdom’s standing with everything that would support growth and development in Tunisia and contribute to the housing and health sectors through financing granted through the Saudi Fund for Development.
He pointed out that the Kingdom is looking to reflect the historical relations between the two countries at the level of cooperation with the Saudi Fund for Development and also through cooperation between ministries, bodies and joint committees between the two countries in various fields.
