Prizes "Nad Al -Sheba Sports" To 4.5 million dirhams
Dubai, on the first of March/ WAM/ The organizing committee of the “Nad Al -Sheba Sports” course announced in its twelfth edition of the increase in the value of the prizes allocated to the winning athletes, bringing the total prizes, including the public prizes, to 4.5 million dirhams, instead of 3.6 million dirhams in the previous version.
The committee emphasized that this step reflects the status of the session that is held under the slogan “border capabilities”, as it is one of the most prominent sporting events during the month of Ramadan, and aims to motivate the participants and the fans to provide the best levels.
The value of the prizes allocated to the athletes participating in 11 championships within the competitions of the course is more than 4 million dirhams, as it was devoted to 1.5 million dirhams for the first positions in the volleyball championship, 764 thousand dirhams for the pande champion For the basketball championship on the wheelchairs, 150 thousand dirhams for the Jujitsu Championship, and 60 thousand dirhams for each of the fencing and archery championships with running “Laser Ren” and the flying feather.
On the competition level, the fencing competitions will start tomorrow, Sunday, with the participation of an elite group of international eagles from 13 countries, including Italy, Peru, Egypt, France, Tunisia, Slovakia, India, the United States, Russia, Tajikistan, Syria, and Saudi Arabia, along with the UAE represented by the national team players and local clubs.
The championship also witnesses the establishment of local competitions for girls, with the participation of female citizens, female citizens and the birth of the state, where the qualifiers will be held on the first day, while the third and final matches are held on the second day.
