المملكة: Unanimously .. “ISESCO” agrees to the Riyadh AI
This came during the work of the forty -fifth session of the Executive Council of the Organization (ISESCO) held in Tunisia, in the presence of all member states, with the participation of the Saudi Organization for Data and Artificial Intelligence “Sayaba”.

The course discussed the “Riyadh Charter for Artificial Intelligence in the Islamic World”, which represents a comprehensive strategic framework; It aims to develop artificial intelligence techniques in line with Islamic values, and to enhance sustainable development and international cooperation in this field.
Member States affirmed their commitment to enhancing the governance of artificial intelligence and supporting adoption of the responsible use of artificial intelligence in the countries of the Islamic world.
During this session, the charter was presented from the organization’s anticipation and intelligence center by Dr. Qais Al -Hamami, where he reviewed its most prominent axes and strategic goals, highlighting its importance in directing the development of artificial intelligence in a way that serves the common interests of the countries of the Islamic world.
Riyadh Charter
The ISESCO noted the “Riyadh Charter”, in exchange for its prominent achievement that reflects the commitment of member states to harness artificial intelligence for the benefit of societies, in line with international governance frameworks and moral principles, stressing that the charter represents a guidance framework for member states to keep pace with the rapid developments in artificial intelligence according to a unified strategic vision, and constitutes an essential pillar to enable member states from Uses of artificial intelligence, protect ethical principles, and secure a sustainable digital future for member states.

The approval of the Islamic countries on the “Riyadh Charter” comes within the framework of the strategic cooperation between the Islamic World Organization for Education, Science and Culture (ISESCO) and the Kingdom represented by the Saudi Commission for Data and Artificial Intelligence “Sidia” and the Saudi National Committee for Education, Culture and Science, to confirm the partnership of the Kingdom’s pioneering role in enabling responsible artificial intelligence, by setting organizational frameworks supporting the development of artificial intelligence Responsible and sustainable, in a way that enhances the Kingdom’s position in this field, and its commitment to leading international efforts to ensure artificial intelligence is ethical and effective.
