“Deaf health” in the courtyard

Under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Hossam bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Al -Baha Region, the Undersecretary of the Emirate, Dr. Abdel -Moneim bin Yassin Al -Shehri, launched today the national campaign “Deaf in Health”, which is organized by Al -Baha Health Gathering, at the Emirate’s Court.

The campaign aims to raise the level of individual and society awareness by providing integrated health services during the holy month of Ramadan, and includes the possibility of reserving appointments through a “health” application to conduct eight laboratory tests that help to evaluate the health condition, in addition to enhancing a culture of walking at an average of 8,000 steps per day, and encouraging healthy sleep for a period of not less than 8 hours per day to ensure a more balanced lifestyle.

During the inauguration, the representative of the Emirate of Al -Baha stressed the importance of health initiatives in improving the quality of life, praising the efforts of Al -Baha healthy in spreading health awareness among members of society, urging everyone to participate in this national campaign.

The CEO of Al -Baha Health Assembly, Dr. Mushabab bin Saeed Al -Asmari, stated that this initiative comes in cooperation with government agencies in the region, headed by the region’s emirate, the Al -Baha Municipality and other parties, in order to ensure awareness reaching the largest possible segment of beneficiaries, and achieving public health goals during the holy month.

He noted that the target group of the campaign is 18 years and more, and people at risk of developing chronic diseases such as high blood pressure, diabetes, cholesterol, the elderly to ensure their health follow -up and enhance their healthy lifestyle, and people who suffer from sleep disturbances to urge them to sleep enough and control their sleep pattern at at least eight hours, and athletes and lovers of physical activity to enhance the culture of walking 8,000 steps per day per day And motivate them to exercise regularly and all segments of society.
